For their first time in Europe, this pretty American family wanted a family photoshoot in the Marais district to keep memories from their first trip to Paris!
Their request was to get a few posed family portraits and some candids shots. They wanted to have some photos in front of some beautiful colored doors as well.
With that in mind, we explored the Marais district and took candid photos as well as more posed ones.
Why the Marais district is a great choice for a family photo session in Paris?
– The garden of place des Vosges offers a beautiful scenery for your photos with the fountains and the parisian buiddings in the background
– Nearby, the arches can be used as a shelter in case of rain
– Few steps away, there is a small beautiful castle
– The Marais is a colorful district with pretty yellow, blue doors!
We started our tour at place des Vosges garden, which is one of the oldest public square in Paris. The garden is home of pretty fountains and surrounded by beautiful buildings whose one was the former house of Victor Hugo, the famous French writer.
They started to blow bubbles. I really like bubbles as it creates something fun, which helps forgetting the camera! Really useful at the beginning of a photoshoot 🙂
Beautiful castle nearby.
