There are many reasons why you may looking for a professional photographer in Paris for a family photo session: your first trip in Paris as a family, you want to have memories of your kids growing up or even one of family member’s birthday.
This family is coming each and every year in Paris since their daughter’s first birthday. It has become a family tradition. At the same date, for each birthday of their lovely daughter, they have their family connection captured with me.
It’s such an honor to see this little girl growing up, walking and talking and follow their life. More than just taking pictures of their family, they became my friends.
Each year, I am looking for a new location to smash the cake. This time, we went in Montmartre district to celebrate her third birthday!
Smashing the cake close to the Sacre Coeur
Montmartre is a large hill in Paris. It is 430 ft high and overlook Paris. It has a village and artistic atmosphere, as this distrct attracted many artists in the 19th and 20th century. With its cobblestoned street, its beautiful basilica (Sacré Coeur), its artists and bistrots, it has a lot of appeal for a photoshoot in Paris!
As each year, the family chose one of the most delicious cakes in Paris, from Pierre Hermé.
When we found the right location, we sat down, so this little girl can blow her 3 candles. Can you see how excited she is to taste her birthday cake?
Walking around Montmartre district
Once we finished eating the cake, we continue our tour. We headed to the “Love You” wall. Do you know this wall in Paris? It’s a wall covered with “I love you” written in more than 300 languages and dialects.
We ended our tour with a carroussel ride. How nice is it for kids!
