3 tips to feel comfortable in front of the camera

30/01/2018

Would you like to do an engagement photo session or a family photoshoot in Paris, but either you or your partner doesn’t feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Guess what? It’s perfectly normal!

As a photographer, our role is not just taking pictures, it’s about making you feel at ease in front of the camera.

Here are 3 simple ways for you to feel at ease in front of a camera.

How to have great photos when we are not at ease in front of a camera?

1) Having fun

Either by blowing bubbles or jumping into the air, your mind will be distracted by what you’re doing. This way, you will forget for a moment the camera. You will just enjoy the present moment and have fun with your hubby and / or your children!

2) Be in your bubble

During the photo session, I will suggest you some interactions between you. This way, you will express your love and connection in a natural way and have candid pictures in return.

Here are few examples you could experience during your photo session:

* Look into each other eyes for one minute and try to tell all your love without speaking,

* Tell the neighbor on your left a secret (for a family session)

* In your sexiest voice, whisper your partner what you did today
