Summer Honeymoon in Paris: 7 places to sunbathe

12/08/2016

As a Honeymoon Photographer in Paris, I’m always happy to help you find the right places so you can enjoy your trip in Paris, especially on such a special moment, a Honeymoon. If you are planning your Honeymoon in Summer, they are a lot of places you can go or activities you can experience to enjoy Paris when the sun is shining.

In the morning

  1. Paris Plage

Each summer the Seine banks at two different places (in the Hotel de Ville area and La Villette) become sandy beaches, offering activities, concerts and food trucks. Your Paris resort!

Imagine, after sleeping late, awake smoothly with an outside Taï Chi session at the heart of Paris, between a sand beach behind you and the River Seine as well as Hausmannian buildings in front of you. The opportunity to be right here and enjoy the present moment with your loved one while feeling the sun on your skin.

To enter your day full of energy!

Where? At Tunnel des Tuileries, 75001 Paris: From 20 July to 21 August 2016, from 10 am to noon.

In Summer, the quai François Mauriac is full of nice short-lived bars/restaurants. There is a good and relaxed atmosphere where you can choose your perfect place to stay: from deckchairs to sofas or even long friendly tables! To eat, you can choose between French specialties, tapas, pizzas, salads or cheese/cold meet dishes

Perfect for a lunch on a sunny day!

And if you want to relax by swimming a few breadths in a pool overlooking the River Seine, the swimming pool Josephine Baker is right there too.

Where? Easy to reach from Bibliothèque François Mitterand metro station, that’s the quay which goes along the François Mitterand Library.

In the afternoon

  1. Rent a scooter

If you are still full of energy after your morning Taï Chi session, discover Paris on your own, like a local to explore the different Parisian districts on a scooter.

  1. Parc des Buttes Chaumont

If you are more in the mood of sunbathing with your lover in a big garden, lying on the grass, huddling to each other, you can go to the Buttes Chaumont.

You can lay on the grass to rest and just close your eyes to relax… If you are thirsty, the Rosa Bonheur, a trendy café, is waiting for you inside the garden.
